An exciting, interactive experience that stretches your team's
skills in a positive learning setting. They get to develop teamwork,
not just talk about it, while testing systems. Your team will have
the opportunity to deal with up to six scenarios related to
workplace violence and threat harassment, make decisions in a real
time environment and explore various courses of action. Information

This opportunity demonstrates information-security threats
resulting from human factors as well as electronic intrusion The
WAECUP protocol will be used to illustrate such threats. Interacting
with issues related to challenges in scenarios allows management to
gain a better understanding of the risks and appropriate responses.
Advantages and limitations of Firewalls, Intrusion Detection and DMZ
when dealing with the potentially corrupt human, as well as
electronic factors will be illustrated in a non-technical format.
Opportunities for linking the auditing, MIS and security functions
to adequately protect information are explored. The gaps between

Violence in The Healthcare Setting
Programs designed for a variety of health settings where violence
prevention programs are needed. The program can be presented to all
levels of the organization (executive to staff). Jim Turner has been
presenting such programs since the publication of Violence in the
Medical Care Setting: A Survival Guide (1984), Aspen). The program
lengths range from four hours to twelve hours and can be as broad or
as focused as you need. Dr. Turner has worked in conjunction with
physicians, nurses, risk management, and security to develop
programs that compliment and support their efforts to improve the
